Scotsman Ice Machines Wins 2007 NRA Award

The National Restaurant Association has awarded Scotsman with a 2007 Kitchen Innovations Awards for the Prodigy Cube Ice Machine. The Prodigy has been lauded as one of the smartest, most foolproof ice machines on the market today thanks to its state-of-the-art self-monitoring system. It will be featured in live demonstrations in the Kitchen Innovations Pavilion during the National Restaurant Show in May 2007. This is the first Kitchen Innovations award for Scotsman. The competition is judged by an independent panel of industry experts and recognizes trend-setting kitchen equipment thought to be among the most innovative in the world.

New APW Wyott Ceramic Radiant Oven

APW Wyott has inroduced a great new piece of restaurant equipment, the XTREME Radiant Toaster, designed for commercial cooking.

The new XTREME Radiant Toaster can toast over 1000 slices of toast per hour and can do a variety of bread products. High production is accelerated with the patented �Advanced Pre-Drying Heat Zone�. This feature blows hot air onto the bread in the loading zone, accelerating the toasting action in the actual toasting chamber.

The system senses the optimal heat levels in the toasting chamber, allowing for the fastest start up periods and the safest �Cool to the Touch� exteriors. And when the toaster is turn off, the Xtreme Smart� Air System continues to work to remove the dangerous heat build-up in the toaster�keeping the surface and the sensitive electronic components safe.

The XTREME Toaster line is available in a 10 inch wide and 13 inch conveyor, both available with 1.5 inch high openings and an extra tall 3 inch high opening.
